The Commission will make comprehensive proposals in 2018 for the next generation of financial programmes for the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), which is the EU’s long–term budget.

Please find below links to open public consultations related to the current preparation of the next Multiannual Financial Framework. All citizens and organisations are welcome to respond to this consultation by 8 March 2018.

The Commission’s proposals will be designed to make it possible for the EU to deliver on the things that matter most, in areas where it can achieve more than Member States acting alone. This requires a careful assessment both of what has worked well in the past and what could be improved in the future. This consultation is an integral part of the process and its objective is to collect the views of all interested parties on how to make the most of every euro of the EU budget.
